ABOUT THE TRAINING 
Training is an important aspect in oneself for developing skills and knowledge that relate to specific useful competencies. Training has specific goals of improving one's capability, capacity, productivity and performance on how to do one person’s jobs and improve responsibilities.. The two days training which will be conducted at the College of Business Education , facilitated by work in hand professionals in Accounting and Finance from Pricewaterhouse Coopers ( PWC), Tanzania Revenue Authority( TRA), National Board of Accountants and Auditors( NBAA) and Information Development Services Business Consultancy (IDS) will be a platform for workers and students to get the chance to understand their jobs in depth, understand various soft skills and improve their Accounting and Entrepreneurial knowledge and skills in a more practical environments than the known theoretical classroom training of most people have acquired at universities and colleges and in various workshops v, training and seminars.

WHY THIS TRAINING ?
Tanzania has been suffered with low skills for employees and graduates due the absence of linkages between the imparted education and employers and business industry needs. The recruitment work agencies surveyed reported a general lack of targeted education and frequent major discrepancies between candidates’ profiles and the skills in many private companies, Civil societies organization and the government sector. Many of the graduates and employees either do not perform well or do not meet their works performance targets
Thus the need for this training is very crucial, that this training will greatly improve competence and creativity by impacting sufficient Accounting , finance and Entrepreneurial knowledge and skills to both students and workers Let’s work together we will ENJOY OUR JOBS,

TRAINING OBJECTIVES
Training goals: The trainee will possess the required knowledge and skills required to process payment, process receivables, taxation knowledge and skills and preparation of financial statements including the practical aspects of Entrepreneurial skills;
Training objectives: At the completion of training, the trainee will be able to
-To describe the practical aspects on the payment process (Accounts payables)
-To identify various documents used for payments
-To describe on practical basis the receivable process (Accounts receivables)
-Identify documents important for receivables process
-To prepare various accounting reports which will include the followings
- Tax skills by understanding and practicing documentations process on the various payments to Tanzania Revenue Authority(TRA).
- To prepare various Accounting Reports such as comprehensive income statement, statement of financial position, statement of cash flow, statement of cash in equity notes, etc
- Practical oriented with outputs on entrepreneur skills.

 Acquiring practical silks to complement the theoretical backgrounds obtained at Colleges and universities
 Build up confidence
 Build up perfection, competence and high skills at the working place.

 Lessening mistakes which could have costed company to a great extent.
 Motivation to both students and employees on job’s performances.

DATE AND DURATION OF THE TRAINING 
The training will take place on 27th to 28th April,2019( a two days training ) from 9a.m to 4 p.m ,will involve some practical activities, to enable participants( both students and employees) to acquire skills and knowledge on different sections in accounting department.

PARTICIPATION FEE AND PAYMENT ; Participation fee will be 20,000 Tshs for students and 30,000 Tshs for Non students, through account name CBE Consultancy Bureau, with Account no 191504001632 of Tanzania Postal Bank

History of CBE

The COLLEGE OF BUSINESS EDUCATION (CBE) was established in 1965 by the Act of the Parliament. COLLEGE OF BUSINESS EDUCATION Act No. 31 of 1965. His Excellency, J.K. Nyerere, the first President of the United Republic of Tanzania officially opened the new College in January 1965. The College was officially named the “College of Business Education” (CBE). The said Act of Parliament gives the College its legal status as an autonomous institution with its Governing Body. The College shall be governed and administered in accordance with the provisions of this Act.
