Prof. Edda Lwoga Announces TSh 400M Funding for Local Research Ahead of 2026 Conference

The Rector of the College of Business Education (CBE), Prof. Edda Lwoga, stated that the college has allocated approximately 400 million shillings to fund various research projects aimed at strengthening business, investment, and economic development in the country.

Speaking about the preparations for the Business and Economic Development Conference 2026, Prof. Lwoga said these research projects were conducted in various areas across the country with the aim of identifying available opportunities and finding solutions to challenges facing the business and economic sectors.

She said the Business and Economic Development Conference 2026 is expected to take place in Mwanza city on October 22 and 23, serving as a platform to connect research, businesspeople, policymakers, and economic development stakeholders to discuss and reach actionable solutions for driving the country's development.
