Rationally of the course (Lengo kuu la mafunzo):

Basics of explosion protection in hazardous areas. The course intended at training of basics of explosion protection in industrial areas and the classification of industrial areas where explosion or fire can occur. The objective of the course is to conduct training of basic protection of explosion in hazardous areas caused by electrical equipment and related modules for staffs based on worldwide reorganized International Electro-technical commission (IEC) in which IECEx Recognized ASE Technology Group as Training provider. The course will basically highlight;

2.Differences between ATEX, NEC, IECEx scheme
3.Explosion groups
4.Temperature Classes
5.Minimum ignition temperature
6.Explosion zones Zones and Divisions
7.Equipment Classification
                    1.Categories
                    2.Equipment Protection Level

10. Installation techniques
11. TESTING AND CERTIFICATION

History of CBE

The COLLEGE OF BUSINESS EDUCATION (CBE) was established in 1965 by the Act of the Parliament. COLLEGE OF BUSINESS EDUCATION Act No. 31 of 1965. His Excellency, J.K. Nyerere, the first President of the United Republic of Tanzania officially opened the new College in January 1965. The College was officially named the “College of Business Education” (CBE). The said Act of Parliament gives the College its legal status as an autonomous institution with its Governing Body. The College shall be governed and administered in accordance with the provisions of this Act.
