The College of Business Education (CBE) has provided various assistance and wheelchairs to students with special needs at Jangwani Secondary School in Dar es Salaam. The aid was handed over at the school by the Director of Academic Affairs at CBE, Dr. Shima Banele, in a brief ceremony involving over 110 students with special needs from the school.

She stated that the college will continue to support the school so that students with special needs can study diligently and fulfill their dreams in the future.

Dr. Banele mentioned that every year the college has a tradition of allocating a portion of its resources to various groups within the community as a way of acknowledging its contribution to the college. She thanked President Samia Suluhu Hassan for deciding to provide free education from primary to secondary school as many students were unable to attend school due to lack of fees.

The Vice Principal of Jangwani Secondary School, Dar es Salaam, Paulina Aweda, expressed gratitude for the government's inclusive education policy, where students with special needs are integrated with those without any challenges. She encouraged the students to study hard to achieve their dreams and advised them to not underestimate themselves, as they have the potential to excel in their studies and perform well in university education.

Additionally, she urged them to live with love and support each other in their studies to excel academically instead of harboring greed and animosity towards one another. She emphasized the importance of planning for the future today, believing that they would succeed if they dedicated themselves to their goals.

Paulina Aweda, the Vice Principal of the school, stated that the school has 110 students with special needs who study all subjects just like students without any challenges. She commended the government for creating conducive environments to ensure that students with special needs can study without any obstacles and highlighted their excellent performance in their final national exams.

She mentioned that students with special needs receive food, accommodation, and all other necessary items while at school, which has enabled them to perform well academically. She also noted that they are fortunate to have sufficient teachers trained in special education to teach students with special needs, indicating that the government has greatly considered students with special needs.
