Isaya Christopher Mwenisongole, born on October 31, 1983, in Tanzania, resides in Dar es Salaam with his family. He holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Corporate Management from Mzumbe University (2012-2014) and an Advanced Diploma in Business Administration from the College of Business Administrations (2005-2008).
Currently, Isaya is the Chief Business Officer at Selcom Microfinance Bank since September 2022, where he develops strategies and business plans for Credit, Banking Services, Marketing, and Recovery departments, significantly enhancing profitability and customer satisfaction. Before this, he served as Senior Performance Manager (2020-2022) and Project Management Officer (2018-2019) at Access Bank Tanzania, contributing to budget planning, operational efficiency, and project compliance.
From 2016 to 2018, Isaya was a Risk Manager at Access Bank Tanzania, overseeing the bank's risk management framework and AML compliance. His career at Access Bank also included roles as Senior Internal Auditor (2010-2016) and Client Advisor (2008-2010), where he managed client relations, KYC measures, and audit reports. Isaya has consistently demonstrated strong leadership, mentoring, and performance appraisal skills, participating in key business decisions and management meetings. His achievements have been recognized multiple times, winning Best Staff awards at Access Bank Tanzania in 2010, 2013, and 2017.
