ANNUAL GRADUATES MEETING TO DISCUSS DIVERSE OPPORTUNITIES.



The session officially commenced at 5:00 AM. The alumni association opened by introducing themselves and expressing their intention to join this esteemed association. Additionally, Mr. Abasi, the Secretary-General of the alumni association, provided a succinct history of the association. Fifty (50) graduates were in attendance at this significant event. Mr. Abasi extended congratulations to the alumni community for actively participating in this important day, expressing the belief that the presence of employers would bring forth various opportunities for the graduate community.

Mr. Bashiru Yusuph, the Human Resource Officer from Bakhresa Company

The session began with Mr. Bashiru Yusuph, an employer from Bakhresa Company, who addressed the graduates. Bashiru commenced by sharing the history of the companies he leads, emphasizing that through the CBE Alumni Association, they strive to provide diverse opportunities to its members. Mr. Bashiru Yusuph also advised the graduates in the alumni association to overcome the fear of job availability. Among the challenges he highlighted during the hiring process is the need for some graduates to enhance their CVs and ensure their contact information is easily reachable. Mr. Bashiru Yusuph affirmed that Bakhresa companies would wholeheartedly continue to collaborate to assist CBE graduates in securing job opportunities, fields, and internships as they arise. He also encouraged education graduates to submit their CVs for the coming job opportunity, and those with talents were urged to audition for roles in Azam movies, as well as consider joining Azam FC, tourism industries in Zanzibar, and more. Furthermore, the alumni association had the opportunity to engage with other employers from companies such as NIAJIRI, Swing Companies, and Azania Group.


In conclusion, Dr. Leontine Nkebukwa, the representative of the institution and mentor of the alumni association, conveyed gratitude to the employers for their commitment to engaging with our graduate community. He, urged them to sustain this collaboration, emphasizing its potential to facilitate our students' access to various opportunities through these esteemed companies. Additionally, Dr. Nkebukwa pledged on behalf of the alumni association to consistently provide such opportunities at different intervals, ensuring a broader reach to graduates through collaboration with various employers.
