PARTICIPATION IN THE EAST AFRICA DEAN OF STUDENTS FORUM

The Dean of Students at Mwanza campus attended the East African Dean of Students Forum held in Mwanza from 8^th May 2024 to 10^th May 2024 at Mwanza Hotel. Deans of Students from various East African countries gathered to share experiences on the following topics:

• Guidance and counselling services for staff and students
• Raising awareness of current and emerging student challenges
• Improving student relationships
• Networking among staff working on student welfare for future efficiency
• Adopting innovative approaches to address student challenges

The insights and strategies gained from this forum are expected to contribute significantly to the continuous improvement of student welfare services, fostering a supportive and responsive educational environment across East African institutions.
