Mental Health Awareness Seminar

The Directorate of Student Services at the College of Business Education (CBE) organized a Mental Health Awareness seminar on 10^th July 2024. The seminar was facilitated by Dr. Mahmoud Waziri Nyello from Muhimbili National Hospital and was attended by 205 students. The seminar addressed several key topics, including:

• The definition and importance of mental health
• Common mental health conditions, such as depression, anxiety, and stress
• Recognizing signs and symptoms of mental health disorders
• Interventions for managing mental health challenges
• Available treatments for mental health disorders

This event aimed to increase awareness of mental health among students, equipping them with knowledge on how to recognize and respond to mental health concerns.
