CBESO Leadership Seminar

During the third quarter, the Directorate of Students’ Services at Dodoma Campus organized a leadership seminar for CBESO leaders on 6^th February 2025. The seminar brought together 80 CBESO leaders, including cabinet members, parliamentarians, and class representatives.

The session was facilitated by Mr. Joram Nkumbi, the Country Coordinator of the African Youth Leadership Forum, and Ms. Atupele Cairo Mwaitete, Assistant Lecturer at CBE. The seminar aimed to equip outgoing leaders with essential leadership skills for their future careers while also empowering aspiring leaders ahead of the upcoming student elections.

• Leadership and Development – The role of leadership in driving progress and improving people’s lives.
• Integrity in Leadership – The importance of honesty, transparency, and ethical decision-making.
• Encouraging Innovation – Fostering creativity and new ideas for organizational growth.
• Inspiring Growth and Unity – Building a cohesive and forward-thinking team.
• Leading by Example – Demonstrating leadership values through actions and behavior.

The knowledge and skills gained from this seminar are expected to enhance the effectiveness of CBESO leaders in their daily responsibilities, fostering stronger leadership and governance within the College.
