Awareness Seminar on Sexual Reproductive Health

During the third quarter, the Directorate of Student Services at Mwanza Campus organized an awareness seminar on Sexual Reproductive Health, held on 24^th January 2025. The session was facilitated by Mr. Lucas Magadi from DKT Tanzania, Ms. Bertha Yohana (DRCHCO), and Ms. Agness Fumbuka (DNO).

The seminar covered various key topics, including:

• Understanding Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH)
• The role of contraception in reproductive health
• Addressing societal stigma
• Education and reproductive choices
• Prevention and management of sexually transmitted infections (STIs)
• Family planning education
• Promoting a healthy lifestyle
• The importance of regular check-ups and screenings

Attendees actively participated in discussions, enhancing their understanding and awareness of key issues. Moving forward, similar initiatives will be encouraged to foster continuous learning and informed decision-making among students.
