The Meeting between the Head of Students with CBESO Leaders

During the period under review, two meetings were held between CBESO and the Acting Head of Students’ Affairs, Ms. Emmy Chitalika. The meetings were held on the 14^th August 2025 and 11^th September 2025, respectively. Key issues discussed are listed hereunder:

1. Planning for student orientation and induction programs for new intakes.
2. Identification and securing of a new hostel to accommodate the growing student population.
3. Maintenance of peace and security within the college environment.
4. Preparedness for receiving the September 2025 student intake.
5. A proposed study tour aimed at understanding how other institutions engage stakeholders during student registration.
6. Strategies for recruiting new students to enhance enrolment.
7. Improvement of communication channels between students, student leaders, and the Dean of Students’ office.
8. Establishment of mechanisms to address students’ grievances.
9. Coordination with academic departments to ensure timely access to course materials.
