On December 18, 2024, the College of Business Education (CBE) hosted a transformative training session delivered by two SIDO incubation experts, Engineer Grace Daniel and Engineer Betty Rweabura.
🎓 The session attracted 530 students eager to enhance their entrepreneurial and business management skills.
The event was officially opened by the guest of honor, Dr. George Mulamula, a renowned advocate for innovation and entrepreneurship in Tanzania. In his opening remarks, Dr. Mulamula emphasized the critical role of capacity-building initiatives in equipping the youth with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in today’s competitive business environment.
The training focused on:
1️⃣ Business Ideation and Development including strategies for identifying market opportunities and developing viable business ideas.
2️⃣ Using technology and innovation to drive sustainable business growth.
3️⃣ Information on funding opportunities, mentorship programs, and support services provided by SIDO.
Engineer Grace Daniel and Engineer Betty Rweabura encouraged students to take advantage of SIDO's incubation programs designed to support aspiring students with resources, mentorship, and market access.
The training received overwhelmingly positive feedback from participants, with many students expressing gratitude for the knowledge gained and inspiration to pursue entrepreneurial ventures.
