Assistant Inspector and Trainer at the Fire and Rescue Force College in Dar es Salaam, Emmy Mwambwalulu, conducted essential training for long-distance passenger bus attendants on fire safety and disaster preparedness. The training was delivered both theoretically and practically to enhance the attendants' understanding of fire safety and effective methods for preventing and managing potential incidents during journeys.
The five-day training session (December 16-20, 2024) was held at the College of Business Education (CBE) Main Campus in Dar es Salaam in collaboration with the Land Transport Regulatory Authority (LATRA). The program aimed to build productive and efficient capacities among long-distance passenger bus attendants, with over 60 attendants participating in the training.
