“Today is a day to reflect on where we came from, where we are, and where we are heading,” said Hon. Dr. Doto Biteko during the 60th Anniversary Celebration of CBE held today, January 21, 2025.
Hon. Dr. Biteko emphasized the importance of learning from history to strengthen current achievements and carefully plan for the future of education and the nation’s economic development.
Furthermore, during the event, Hon. Dr. Biteko officially launched CBE’s 50-Year Vision, which aims to enhance the quality of education, foster international collaboration, and strengthen the college’s contribution to the development of Tanzania’s trade and economy. The Vision serves as a roadmap for the institution to become a leading hub for innovation, research, and entrepreneurship in Africa.
The event was attended by senior government officials, academics, students, education stakeholders, and various guests. It concluded with heartfelt gratitude from the college leadership for the government and stakeholders’ contributions to CBE’s journey of success.
