The Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Tanzania, H.E. Chen Mingjian, visited the College of Business Education (CBE), Dar es Salaam Campus, where she observed and was briefed on how the college conducts its activities, including teaching, research, and providing professional advice.
This brief visit by H.E. Ambassador Mingjian took place on February 20, 2025, and further strengthened the existing good relations between the college(CBE) and China.
Upon arrival at the College, H.E. Ambassador Mingjian was welcomed by her host, the Rector of CBE, Prof. Edda Tandi Lwoga, along with other officials. They had the opportunity to discuss the development of the college, and the Ambassador also visited the ongoing construction of the Metrology Complex at the college.
"In our discussions, Ambassador Mingjian promised collaboration with CBE in the areas of business training and research, and also expanding the relationship between our CBE and Chinese universities so that we can cooperate with them in the fields of academics and research," said the College's Director, Prof. Lwoga.
