CBE SIGNS A PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT WITH EACB

The College of Business Education (CBE) has entered into an academic cooperation agreement with the East Africa College of Business (EACB). The signing ceremony took place today, August 27, 2025, at the Dar es Salaam Campus.

Speaking during the brief signing ceremony, the Rector of CBE, Prof. Edda Tandi Lwoga, said that the agreement aims to reach more Tanzanians in providing business education and fostering innovation in the country.

“This agreement seeks to enhance research that will provide solutions for entrepreneurs and businesspeople to boost the economy in line with the National Development Vision 2025,” said Prof. Lwoga.

Prof. Lwoga further noted that the agreement also aims to nurture and strengthen EACB so it can deliver quality business education in the country.

“CBE trains people to become major business leaders and entrepreneurs as well as teachers to others, just as it has been with the Rector of EACB, Ms. Maida Waziri, who studied here at CBE,” said Prof. Lwoga.

Meanwhile, the Rector of EACB, Ms. Maida Waziri, stated that the agreement will play a key role in empowering young people to acquire business education and self-employment opportunities that will be provided by the two institutions.

“Collaboration with CBE will expand the scope of delivering education to people of all age groups, enabling them to engage in self-employment through various programs such as ATAMIZI, which operates under CBE,” said Ms. Maida.

Ms. Maida also expressed her gratitude and commended CBE for entering into the agreement, saying it will bring young people together and provide entrepreneurship and self-employment education to help address unemployment challenges.

In addition, the Deputy Rector for Finance, Planning, and Administration, Prof. Emmanuel Munishi, emphasized that the agreement will serve to practically implement the National Development Vision 2025 by providing education that addresses employment challenges in the country.
