CAREER & INCUBATION DAY 2024

The College of Business Education (CBE) has successfully conducted the third season of the Incubation Day program, which took place today at its Dar es Salaam campus. The program aimed to foster innovation and entrepreneurship among students, empowering them to turn their business ideas into actual ventures by providing appropriate business training and funding, connecting them with successful entrepreneurs, and relevant institutions involved in their business or innovation.

The college leadership, led by Rector Professor Edda Tandi Lwoga, welcomed the guest of honor, Mr. Edward Zakaria Talawa, CEO of FINCA Microfinance Bank, to the event. She also welcomed guests from various institutions such as BRELA, NEC, NBC, and SUGECO, along with CBE students.

Mr. Talawa, accompanied by the college leadership and other guests, had the opportunity to visit the business exhibition booths and see the products of students participating in this incubation program, witnessing their significant creativity.

Mr. Talawa highly praised the entire management of the College of Business Education for organizing this unique program aimed at helping youth utilize classroom education and their business ideas to create real businesses. He emphasized that this initiative would greatly contribute to addressing the challenge of unemployment among many young people.

The Incubation Day concluded successfully, bringing together business leaders, experts, and students with unique talents and entrepreneurial abilities. The expectation is that the plans and ideas presented on that day will bring positive changes to society and the industry as a whole.
