| Mini Statement | Currently serving as a Tutorial assistant, consultant, and researcher at the College of Business Education - Mbeya Campus, Mr. Rashid brings a wealth of knowledge and experience. He holds a Master of Science degree in Agricultural Economics from Sokoine University of Agriculture and a Master of Science in Economics from Mzumbe University. These qualifications are complemented by a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness, also from Sokoine University of Agriculture. Before joining the College of Business Education in March 2020, Mr. Rashid honed his skills and expertise as an Economist with the Rungwe District Council for 5 years. Mr. Rashid's research interests are in the areas of enhancing agricultural productivity, rural livelihoods, land dynamics, agricultural commercialization, climate change, value chain analysis, economic development, profitability analysis, rural financing, and natural resources management. He has made his mark in the academic world, having published 3 articles in international peer-reviewed journals. Furthermore, he has actively participated in the global academic community by attending 1 international and 2 local scientific conferences respectively.
