Mini Statement	Dr. Joel Rumanyika is holding a Doctoral of Philosophy in Computer Science from the University of Eastern Finland (UEF) in the Faculty of Science, Forestry, and Technology. His research interest includes Information and Communication Technology for Development (ICT4D) mainly those technologies which aim at empowering informal worker’s activities, and the informal economy at large. He obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Dar es Salaam (Tanzania) and a Master of Science Degree in Communication and Information Systems Engineering at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (PR-China). He is currently working as a Lecturer at the College of Business Education (Dodoma Campus) in the Department of ICT and Mathematics. Dr. Joel Rumanyika has managed to publish eleven articles in the field of mobile technology for learning, informal economy, mobile banking and design science research-oriented work.
