| Mini Statement | Jane is an accomplished educator and computer scientist with a background that uniquely combines education and computer science. She began her academic journey by earning a diploma in education from Morogoro Teacher’s College in Tanzania, which laid the foundation for her teaching career. Later, she pursued a bachelor’s degree in computer science at Ruaha University College (RUCO) in Tanzania, where she began to bridge her expertise in education with her growing passion for technology. Her dedication to the field led her to pursue a master’s degree in computer science at the University of Dodoma, Tanzania, further enriching her knowledge and skills in the ever-evolving world of computer science. With an impressive academic background, Jane embarked on a teaching career, serving as an Assistant Lecturer in the Faculty of ICT at Ruaha Catholic University (RUCU) for a decade. In January 2023, Jane joined the College of Business Education (CBE), where she currently works as an Assistant Lecturer in the department of ICT and Mathematics. Her expertise in both education and computer science positions her as a valuable resource for her students, providing a well-rounded perspective on the subjects she teaches. Jane’s research interests are centered around human-computer interaction, with a particular focus on accessibility. In addition to her teaching and research endeavors, Jane has actively participated in various local conferences and has contributed her insights to the academic community by authoring several papers, primarily for internal use. |
