Alana Banda is a tutorial assistant and a researcher from the College of Business Education Dar es salaam campus. Alana studied Diploma in teachers Education at Klerruu teachers’ college which is at Iringa regional. Then Alana pursued her first bachelor Degree in Education (Bed science) from University of Dar es salaam under Dar es salaam University College of Education.

Alana has been teaching in various secondary school in Tanzania, possesses teaching experience of over 20 years before joining at College of Business Education.  She has a broad and comprehensive knowledge in communication skills, teaching methods, training, counselling and education psychology, education measuring and evaluation and management of education and school administration.
Alana Research interests are Communication, Education, Gender, Guidance, Counselling and Entrepreneurship.
