Dr. Mzomwe Yahya Mazana is a lecturer at the Dar Es Salaam campus of the College of Business Education. She has 22 years of experience teaching business math, computing math, discrete math, quantitative techniques, e-business, and computer applications.

She also has a lot of experience training, consulting, and advising women and young entrepreneurs, as well as young researchers. Dr. Mzomwe has a number of articles in the areas of e-learning, mathematics education, social media in education, gender, entrepreneurship, STEM education, and special education that have been published in reputable journals and conferences.

She earned a Bachelor's Degree in science with education from the University of Dar Es Salaam in Tanzania, a master's degree in information processing from Lappeenranta University of Technology in Finland, a master's degree in mathematical modelling from the University of Zimbabwe in Zimbabwe, and a PhD computer science (educational technologies) from the University of Eastern Finland. Dr. Mzomwe is also a registered technical trainer by NACTE.
