Julius Kitalile is an assistant lecturer in the Department of Legal and Industrial Metrology at the College of Business Education. He has been active in academic activities for over 13 years. He has actively participated in various administrative responsibilities at the college as well as at other institutions besides CBE.  Julius graduated from Mbeya Technical College with a full technical certificate in mechanical engineering. He further pursued an advanced diploma in legal and industrial metrology at the College of Business Education. Later, Julius completed his postgraduate diploma in mechanical engineering and Master of Science in Production Engineering at the University of Dar es Salaam. He then attended St. Petersburg Electrotechnical University, where he attained a Master of Science in Control in Technical Systems (majoring in Automation and Mechatronics).

Julius is research interests include the calibration of measuring instruments, quality control, and standardization. He currently has one research paper published.
