Usante Sylvester Mbata is an Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Business Administration. He joined the department in 2023 as a Assistant Lecturer. His areas of interests are Commercial law, Banking Law, Insurance Law, Tax Law, Labour Law and Public International Law.  Usante Sylvester Mbata has a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LL. B Hons 2015), and Master of Laws Degree in Corporate and Commercial Relation (LL. M. - 2017), University of Bagamoyo.

Usante Sylvester Mbata is a very dynamic, talented and committed young scholar. During his brief time at the School of Law he was appointed as college coordinator at the University. Before joining the College of Business Education in 2023, Usante Sylvester Mbata was highly and actively involved in the Part-time lecturer at the Institute of Finance Management (IFM),  as well as preparing various curriculums as an external stakeholder.
