Eng. MAKANTA ALEXANDER ARSENIUS Eng. Makanta Alexander Arsenius is a Tanzanian-born scholar and educator at the College of Business Education, deeply committed to advancing the fields of computer science and technology. His academic and professional journey reflects a steadfast dedication to learning, research, and societal development. Eng. Makanta's academic path began with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from St. Joseph college of Engineering and technology under St. Joseph University in Tanzania, Dar es Salaam in 2014, where he specialized in Computer Science and Engineering. He furthered his education with a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Mysore in Karnataka, India in 2018. Currently, Eng. Makanta, Alexander Arsenius serves as an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics and ICT at the College of Business Education, Dar es Salaam, a position he has held since 2021. His professional career includes 11 years of service at the Ministry of Home Affairs. Immigration Division from 2007 to 2018. Following this, he transitioned to Mbeya University of Science and Technology (MUST) in 2018, starting as a Tutorial Assistant and later being promoted to the rank of Assistant Lecturer in 2021. His teaching portfolio includes courses in computer networks administration, information security management, computer maintenance practices, computer architecture, mobile application development, and software engineering.
Eng. Makanta, Alexander Arsenius’s research interests are diverse, encompassing cybersecurity, forensic investigation, artificial intelligence, software engineering, machine learning, and computer networks and security. His dedication to continuous learning is demonstrated through his participation in various training programs focused on the security and safety of information systems and artificial intelligence. |
