Augustine Joachim May Kajembe is an academic and professional with a strong foundation in Accounting and Finance. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Accounting) from The Open University of Tanzania and a Master's Degree in Accounting and Finance from Mzumbe University. Additionally, he is a Certified Public Accountant CPA (T), which highlights his advanced expertise in the field of accounting. Since 2014, Augustine has been working as an Assistant Lecturer at the College of Business Education (CBE), where he contributes to academia through teaching, consultancy and research, focusing on areas such as accounting and the environment. His extensive knowledge and experience in the shipping industry, having worked with Maersk Tanzania (Nyota Tanzania) and APM Terminal, further broaden his practical understanding of business operations, especially in shipping, logistics and port operations.

Beyond his academic responsibilities, Augustine has been an external expert with Information Development Services since 2017, offering his expertise as a trainer and auditor. He is also a recognized resource person for the National Board of Accountants and Auditors (NBAA) and the Procurement and Supplies Professionals and Technicians Board (PSPTB). Augustine is a sought-after expert in professional training programs, especially in accounting, taxation, and procurement. His extensive experience in both academia and industry makes him a versatile figure in accounting and finance. He conducts numerous training sessions and engages in research, showcasing his commitment to knowledge-sharing and professional growth.
